ORDINANCE NO. <br />AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR WITHDRAWING FROM THE <br />~~ JUNCTION CITY WATER CONTROL DISTRICT OF LANE COUNTY, <br />OREGON, THAT PART OF THE DISTRICT ANNExED TO THE <br />CITY OF EUGENE BY FINAL ORDER NO. 777 OF THE LANE <br />COUNTY LOCAL GOVERNMENT BOUNDARY COMMISSION ON <br />February 4, 1982, AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. <br />The City Council of the City of Eugene by Resolution No. 375 <br />adopted May 19, 1982, proposed withdrawal from the Junction City <br />Water Control District of that part of the District annexed to the <br />City on February 4, 1982 by Final Order No. 777 of the Lane County <br />Local Government Boundary Commission, as hereinafter described. <br />The Resolution set June 9, 1982 at 12:4 o'clock noon, Pacific <br />Daylight Time, in the Council Chambers, City Hall, in Eugene, Oregon, <br />as the time and place for hearing objections to the withdrawal, and <br />directed that notice of the time and place of the hearing be pub- <br />lisped once each week for two consecutive weeks prior to the hearing <br />and be posted in four public places in the City for the same period. <br />The Notice has been sa published in the Eugene Register Guard <br />and posted in four public places in the City, to-wit: On the bulle- <br />tin board at the City Hall in the City of Eugene, Oregon; on the <br />bulletin board located an the east side of Oak Street where Oak and <br />Park Streets intersect; on the bulletin board on the northwest cor- <br />ner of the intersection of 8th Avenue and Oak Street; and on the <br />bulletin board in the first floor lobby of the Lane County Court- <br />house, all in the City of Eugene, Lane County, Oregon. <br />The City desires to assume liability of the District propor- <br />tionate to the part of the District that has been annexed to the <br />City. <br />Ordinance - 1 <br />
