ORDINANCE NO. a <br />AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR WITHDRAWING FRAM THE <br />JUNCTION CITY WATER CONTROL DISTRICT OF LANE COUNTY, <br />OREGON, THAT PART OF THE DISTRICT ANNExED TO THE <br />CITY of EUGENE BY FINAL ORDER NO. 790 OF THE LANE <br />COUNTY LOCAL GQVERNMENT $oUNDARY COMMISSION ON <br />February 3, 19$3; AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. <br />The City Council of the City of Eugene by Resolution No. 3754 <br />adapted March 2, 1983, proposed withdrawal from the Junction Cit <br />Y <br />Water Control District of that part of the District annexed to the <br />City on February 3, 1983, by Final Order Na. 790 of the Lane County <br />Local Government Boundary Commission, as hereinafter described. <br />The Resolution set March 16, 1983 at 12:00 o'clock noon, Pacific <br />Standard Time, in the Council Chambers, City Hall, in Eugene, Oregon, <br />as the time and place for hearing objections to the withdrawal, and <br />directed that notice of the time and place of the hearing be pub- <br />lished once each week for two consecutive weeks prior to the hearin <br />g <br />and be posted in four public places in the City far the same period. <br />The Notice has been so published in the Eugene Register Guard <br />and posted in four public places in the City, to-wit: On the bulle- <br />tin board at the City Hall in the City of Eugene, Oregon; on the <br />bulletin board located on the east side of Oak Street where Oak and <br />Park Streets intersect; on the bulletin board on the northwest cor- <br />ner of the intersection of Sth Avenue and Oak Street; and on the <br />bulletin board in the first floor lobby of the Lane Count Court <br />Y <br />house, all in the City of Eugene, Lane County, Oregon. <br />The City desires to assume liability of the District propor- <br />tionate to the part of the District that has been annexed to the <br />City. <br />Ordinance - 1 <br />
