ORDINANCE NO. ~C~\3~ <br />AN ORDINANCE CONCERNING THE EUGENE PRIVATE <br />INDUSTRY COUNCIL UNDER THE JOB TRAINING PARTNER- <br />SHIP ACT PUBLIC LAW 97--300}, AMENDING SECTIONS <br />2.013, 2.137, 2.139 AND 2.141 OF THE EUGENE CODE, <br />1971; PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE; AND DECLARING <br />AN EMERGENCY. <br />THE CITY OF EUGENE DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: <br />Section 1. Sections 2.137, 2.139 and 2.141 of the Eugene Code, <br />1971, are hereby amended to read and provide: <br />2.137 JTPA Eu ene Private Industr Council - Created. Pursu- <br />ant to the Job Training Partnership Act, the JTPA Eugene <br />private industry council is hereby established to provide policy <br />guidance for, and exercise independent oversight with respect <br />to, activities under the job training plan for the City of <br />Eugene Service Deliverer Area, which Area is defined as the jur- <br />isdictional limits of the city as they now or hereafter may <br />exist. <br />2.139 JTPA Eu ene Private Industr Council - Membership, Term <br />of Office . <br />~l} The JTPA Eugene private industry council shall con- <br />sist of a minimum of 17 members.
