<br />.THAT CODE; REPEALING SECTIONS 2.355, 9.020, 9.514, 9.692,
<br />9.704, 9.712, 9.748, 9.750, 9.752, 9.754, 9.756, AND
<br />9.755 OF THAT CODE; AND PRO1lIDING FOR AN EFFECTI!!E DATE.
<br />THE CITY DF EUGENE DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
<br />Section 1. Section 2.013 of the Eugene. Cade, 1971, is hereby amended
<br />by deleting the Zoning Baard.of Appeals from the table of City Boards
<br />Committees and Commissions contained therein.
<br />Section 2. Section 2.350 of the Eugene Code, 1971, is hereby amended
<br />by deleting subparagraphs (c), (d), and (f) therefrom and relettering the
<br />present subparagraphs (e), (g), (h), (i), (j ), and (k) to (c), (d), (e),
<br />(f), (g), and (h) respectively.
<br />Section 3. Section 2.355 of the Eugene Code, 1971, is hereby re Baled.

<br />Section 4. Section 2.370 of the Eugene Code, 1971, is hereby amended
<br />to read and provide:

<br />and shall hold office at the pleasure of the city manager. .
<br />~2} It shall be the duty of a hearings official to exercise an

<br />and representatives of the commissions, shall establish a job descri tion

<br />q g of f ~ c~ a1 s . The c~ ty manager shat 1 appoint,
<br />as the.need arises, persons who meet the qualifications, to hear particular
<br />complaints brought pursuant to section 4.645 of this code. Each commission
<br />sha11 notify the city manager of the need fora hearings officer to hear
<br />a complaint filed with the commission.
