ORDINANCE NO. ~~i,~ <br />AN ORDINANCE REQUESTING THAT JURISDICTION OVER <br />CERTAIN COUNTY ROAD5 NOW LOCATED WITHIN THE <br />CORPORATE LIMITS OF THE. CITY QF EUGENE, A <br />MUNICIPAL CORPORATION OF THE STATE of gREGON <br />BE TRANSFERRED To THE CITY OF EUGENE, OREGON. <br />The City Council of the City of Eugene finds that: <br />The City Council deems it necessary and expedient and in the <br />best interests of the City to acquire jurisdiction over certain <br />county roads, ar parts thereof, lying inside the corporate limits <br />of the City of Eugene, to the same extent as it has over public <br />streets and alleys of the City. <br />Under the provisions of Section 373.270 of Oregon Revised <br />Statutes, the Baard of County Commissioners of Lane County, Oregon <br />has the authority to release jurisdiction over the county roads <br />within the limits of the City of Eugene, and should be requested <br />to da s o . <br />NOW, THEREFORE, <br />THE CITY OF EUGENE DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS; <br />Section 1. Based upon the above findings, which are incorpor-~ <br />ated herein by reference, the City Council of the Gity of Eugene, <br />a Municipal Corporation of the State of aregon, deems it necessary <br />and expedient and in the best interests of the City to acquire jur- <br />isdiction aver the following described County Roads located within <br />the City, to the same extent as it has over other public streets <br />and alleys of the City, which County Roads are more fully describ- <br />ed as follows; <br />Ordinance - 1 <br />
