<br />Administrative Order <br />of the <br />Traffic Engineer of the City of Eugene, Oregon <br /> <br />Prohibiting Through Truck Movements and <br />Establishing Vehicle Use Restrictions <br />on Stewart Road <br /> <br />Criteria for Administrative Action <br /> <br />The administrative action of the Traffic Engineer of the City of Eugene, Oregon, prohibiting <br />through truck movements and establishing vehicle use restrictions on Stewart Road is based on <br />the following criteria: <br /> <br />(a) Traffic engineering principles and traffic investigations: <br /> <br />. Roadway and intersection capacity: Not applicable. <br /> <br />. Safety: Not applicable. <br /> <br />. Traffic signs, markings and signals: Signs, markings and signals will be <br />added, removed, or modified as needed to comply with the Manual on <br />Uniform Traffic Control Devices. <br /> <br />. Intersection Control: No changes will be made to intersection controls. <br /> <br />. Roadway lighting: No street lighting changes will be made. <br /> <br />. Access control: Truck access will be impaired. Trucks will not be allowed <br />to use Stewart Road as a through street, and trucks over 16,000 pounds <br />GVW will be prohibited on the easterly section of Stewart Road. <br /> <br />. Speed zoning: No changes will be made to the existing speed zones. <br /> <br />(b) Standards, limitations, and rules promulgated by the Oregon Transportation <br />Commission or the Oregon Public Utility Commission or their successors. <br /> <br />. No applicable standards, limitation, or rules apply. <br /> <br />@ Other recognized traffic control standards. <br /> <br />. Signing and markings will comply with the Manual on Uniform Traffic <br />Control Devices. <br />
