ORDINANCE NO. - ~~_~ <br />An Ordinance initiating the vacation of the following described <br />alley, to-wit: <br />The alley lying between <br />l o t s 7, 8 and 9 and the <br />1~, 11 and 12, Block Z9; <br />to Eugene as platted and <br />4, Page ~2, Lane County Ox <br />~Gilland/feting AV 84-1} <br />the north line of <br />south line of lots <br />DRIVERTON ADDITION <br />recorded in Volume <br />:egon Plat Records. <br />THE ;CITY OF EUGENE DOES QRDAIN AS FULLQWS: <br />Section 1. The City Council of the City of Eugene herein <br />initiates the vacation proceedings on its awn authority without <br />petition or consent of the property owners, except as provided <br />by statute, of the above described alley. <br />Section 2. A hearing shall be held upon the proposal to <br />vacate the alley as herein provided, and the hearing shall be <br />held on the 15th day of August, 1984 at noon, Pacific Daylight <br />Time at the Counc i 1 Chambers at City Hall , Eugene, Oregon, at <br />which time all persons will be heard upon objections or sugges- <br />tions with regard to the vacation, and at said time the Council <br />will provide for the vacation or deny such vacation, and in <br />case the vacation is made, will provide and make provision for <br />any damages sustained by local assessment. ~~ <br />Section 3. The City Recorder is hereby directed to immedi- <br />ately publish once each week for four consecutive weeks in a <br />newspaper published in Eugene, Lane County, Oregon, notice of <br />the proposed vacation. The notice shall give a description <br />of the area to be vacated as herein set aut; state the date <br />Ordinance ~- 1 <br />
