• TEMl~~tARY AMBULANCE RIILFS <br />A. Minimum Ambulance and E ui ment Standards. <br />1. Ambulances shall be of the federal ambulance specification <br />KKK 1$~2-A type 1 or type 3, <br />~. each ambulance shall contain, in addition to the equipment <br />standards set by the State of Dregon, the fallowing equipment <br />ediatric defibrillator paddles ~l set~~ pediatric mast garments <br />p <br />~1 pair}, adult mast garments ~2 pairs}, pediatric laryngoscope <br />size with s trai ht blade}r adult laryngoscope with straight <br />~ 1 g <br />and curved blades -all laryngoscope handles and blades shall <br />be made of chrome or stainless steel, firm extrication collars <br />3 sets one eac'n of <br />~ ~ size small, medium and large}, ~2} Kendrick <br />extraction devices ar equivalent -- short or half spine boards <br />are not acceptable. <br />ll ambulances shall be maintained according to manu-~ <br />~s A <br />facturer's recommendations, Complete maintenance retards shall <br />be maintained and made available to the city upon request. <br />B. Minimum Cormnunications Sstems and Personnel. <br />1. The communi cat ions center shall comply with the 1884 <br />National Fire Protection Association Manuals, Chapter 2 ~~ 2--1.1. ~; <br />2~-1.2.1; 2--1, 2.5; and 2-~1.2.6. <br />2. Radio consoles} shall have Gros s-channel, phone patch <br />capabilities. • <br />3. The console shall have the capability to camrr~una~cate <br />on frequencies 154.43a and 154.205 khz. - <br />4.
