Protocols regarding drugs carried and used by ambu- <br />lance operators and drugs required to be carried in each <br />vehicle of an ambulance operator; <br />4. Minimum training and qualifications for emergency <br />medical technicians of all levels employed by a licensee; <br />5. Response times and minimum level of care provided; <br />6, Minimum standards for communication systems and per- <br />sonnel; <br />7. Minimum standards for information included in all <br />patient records; <br />S. Minimum standards for records tv be kept by each <br />ambulance operator; <br />9. The amount of the performance bond that an ambulance <br />operator is required to post under section 3.131 of this code; <br />and <br />10. The terms and amounts of insurance coverage required <br />under section 3.131 of this code. <br />fib} To review and investigate the performance of a licensee <br />upon the request of the city, and to make a written report to the <br />city of its findings; and <br />~c} To review and investigate all applications for an initial <br />license or for renewal and to make a written report to the city of <br />its findings. <br />3.123 Ambulance -Medical Advisory subcommittee Created. There is hereby <br />created a medical advisory subcommittee of the Emergency Medical <br />Services Board. The subcommittee shall be comprised of those EMS board mem- <br />bers appointed pursuant to section 3.119~c}. <br />3.125 Ambulance - Medical Advisory Subcommittee; Powers and Quties. The <br />medical advisory subcommittee shall make recommendations to the <br />Emergency Medical Services Board on all medical protocol procedures and <br />treatment. The medical advisory subcommittee shall have the following powers <br />and duties; <br />~a} To recommend a minimum level of pre-hospital patient care <br />and clinical sophistication to be provided by ambulance operators, <br />including training programs; <br />fib} To recommend the minimum equipment to be contained by each <br />vehicle of an ambulance operator; <br />~c} Ta recommend protocols regarding drugs carried and used <br />by an ambulance operator, and medical treatment standards; <br />~d} To recommend minimum standards far information to be in- <br />cluded in all patient care records.; <br />3.127 Ambulance - Administration Powers of City Mana er or aesi nee. <br />ordinance - 4 <br />
