<br />ADMINISTRATIVE ORDER NO. {;"3-c(&-O! <br />of the <br />City Manager <br /> <br />GRANTING A REVISED SOLID WASTE & RECYCLING <br />COLLECTION LICENSE TO NORTHWEST RESOURCE <br />RECYCLING, INC. <br /> <br />A. Pursuant to the provisions of Section 3.247 of the Eugene Code, 1971, and Section <br />R-3.250-J of Solid Waste & Recycling Collection Administrative Rule R-3.250, the City Manager <br />issued Administrative Order No. 53-93-21 on September 28, 1993 granting a new solid waste <br />collection license to Northwest Resource Recycling, Inc. <br /> <br />B. Northwest Resource Recycling, Inc. has requested a modification of the license to <br />reflect a change in the location of its materials recovery facility, and to permit it to subcontract <br />with Sweet Home Sanitary Service to transport residual waste from Licensee's facility to a state <br />approved landfill or transfer station. Other modifications should also be made at this time to <br />reflect changes in reporting requirements and license fees. <br /> <br />C. The services provided by the Licensee are beneficial to the community, and it is <br />in the public interest to modify the existing license. <br /> <br />Therefore, based upon the above findings, which are adopted herein, <br /> <br />The City Manager of the City of Eugene orders that: <br /> <br />1. A revised Solid Waste & Recycling Collection license, a copy of which is attached <br />as Exhibit A hereto and incorporated herein by reference, is hereby granted to Northwest <br />Resource Recycling, Inc. <br /> <br />2. The license attached as Exhibit A hereto shall become effective upon execution of <br />a copy thereof by Northwest Resource Recycling, Inc., payment of applicable fees, and delivery <br />to the City of any other documentation required thereby, specifically including a copy of <br />Licensee's agreement with Sweet Home Sanitary Service that has been approved by City. <br /> <br />3. The license granted by Administrative Order No. 53-93-21 shall remain in full <br />force and effect until Licensee has complied with the provisions of Section 2 above, and shall be <br />cancelled as of the effective date of the revised license attached as Exhibit A hereto. <br /> <br />Dated this 2! ~day of January, 1996. <br />- A <br />~!0~ <br /> <br />City Manager ~ /1].')1. <br /> <br />Administrative Order <br /> <br />01117/96 <br />
