<br />ADMINISTRATIVE ORDER NO. .s-3 -qCs>- i ~ <br />of the <br />Building & Permit Services Division Manager <br />Planning & Development Department <br />City of Eugene, Oregon <br /> <br />Rescinding Administrative Order No. 53-94-15; Delegating <br />Duties Under Chapters 3, 6, 8, and 9 of the Eugene Code, 1971. <br /> <br />The Manager of the Building & Permit Services Division of the Planning & <br />Development Department of the City of Eugene finds that: <br /> <br />A. Abe Farkas, Director of the City's Planning and Development Department of the <br />City of Eugene, as the City Manager's designee, has by Administrative Order No. 53-96-00 <br />delegated to me the duties and responsibilities to be performed by the City Manager under <br />Chapters 3, 8, and 9 of the Eugene Code, 1971, and the joint authority, to be coordinated with <br />the Public Works Director, to perform and carry out the City Manager's duties and <br />responsibilities under Chapter 6 of the Eugene Code, 1971, except: <br /> <br />1. The adoption, amendment, or repeal of any rules authorized therein; <br /> <br />2. The adoption, amendment, or repeal of any fees or fee schedules <br />authorized therein; <br /> <br />3. The City Manager's decision-making authority with respect to appeals <br />and determinations to implement legal proceedings on behalf of the City; and <br /> <br />4. The City Manager's enforcement duties and responsibilities under <br />Chapter 9 of the Eugene Code, 1971, delegated jointly with Jan Childs, Planning <br />Director by Section 3 of Administrative Order No. 53-96-00. <br /> <br />B. Administrative Order No. 53-96-00 further specifically authorized me to in turn <br />delegate any of the duties or responsibilities delegated to me therein. <br /> <br />C. Based on prior authorizations, I have previously issued administrative orders <br />delegating duties to others. In order to avoid confusion and ensure the efficient administration <br />of those duties, Administrative Order No. 53-94-15, and any other orders in conflict herewith <br />should be rescinded, and the duties and responsibilities delegated as hereinafter set forth. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, <br /> <br />THE MANAGER OF THE BUILDING AND PERMIT SERVICES DIVISION OF <br />THE PLANNING & DEVELOPMENT DEPARTMENT OF THE CITY OF EUGENE <br /> <br />Administrative Order - 1 <br /> <br />06/17/96 <br />
