<br />ORDERS AND DIRECTS THAT: <br /> <br />1. The above findings are adopted. <br /> <br />2. Administrative Order No. 53-94-15 issued by me on October 13, 1994, and any <br />other order in conflict herewith are hereby rescinded, as of the effective date of this Order. <br /> <br />3. Except as set forth in Finding A above, the duties, responsibilities, and authority <br />delegated to me by the Director of Planning & Development as the designee of the City Manager, <br />to carry out the City Manager's duties and responsibilities under Chapters 3 and 8 of the Eugene <br />Code, 1971, the joint authority and responsibility to enforce the provisions of Chapter 9 of the <br />Eugene Code, 1971, including permits or variances issued thereunder, and the joint authority, to <br />be coordinated with the Public Works Director, to perform and carry out the City Manager's <br />duties and responsibilities under Chapter 6 of the Eugene Code, 1971, are hereby delegated to the <br />persons acting as the Building Official, Code Compliance Manager, Permit Review Manager, <br />Business License/Land Use Supervisor, and Inspection Supervisors. <br /> <br />4. Upon finding it would be more efficient and in the public interest to do so, any of <br />the duties and responsibilities delegated herein may in turn be delegated to such person or persons <br />considered qualified to perform the duties or assume the responsibilities. <br /> <br />5.
