<br />AN ORDINANCE CONCERNING COMMERCIAL ZONING DISTRICTS AND
<br />OFF-STREET PARKING REGULATIONS; AMENDING SECTIONS .2.407,
<br />7.180, 9.060, 9.254, 9.268, 9.270, 9.392, 9.406, 9.420,
<br />9.434, 9.504, 9.510, 9.534, 9.540, 9.542, 9.544, 9.546,
<br />9.556, 9.558, 9.582, 9.584, 9.58G, 9.587, 9.590, 9.592,
<br />AND 9.593 OF THE EUGENE CODE, 1971; REPEALING~SECTIONS
<br />9.394, 9.395, 9.398, 9.408, 9.410, 9.422, 9.424, 9.436,
<br />AND 9.438.OF THAT CODE; ADDING NEVI SECTIONS 9.437, 9.439,

<br />THE CITY OF EUGENE DOES ORDATN AS FOLLOWS:
<br />Section 1. Subparagraph ~h} of Section 2.407 of the Eugene Cade, 1971,
<br />is hereby amended to read and provide r
<br />2.407 Historic Landmark Desi nation -Criteria and Procedure. Hi stari c
<br />landmarks shall be designated in the following manner;
<br />~h} Zone change. An application for H Historic zoning
<br />may be considered following historic landmark designation.
<br />Section 2. Subsection ~b}1. of Section 7.180 of the Eugene Code, 1971,
<br />is hereby amended to read and provide:
<br />7.1$0 Local Im ravements ~- A ortionment of Assessments. 1~hatever
<br />share of the total costs of the improvement the council decides,
<br />on the basis of previously stated policy, is to be borne by the city shall
<br />be excluded from the assessment before apportionment. Special costs or
<br />features of the improvement that benefit a particular parcel of property
<br />in a manner peculiar to the parcel shall, together with a share of the
<br />overhead for the improvement, be assessed separately against that parcel.
<br />The remainder of the costs of the improvement, its general casts, together
<br />with the overhead. far the improvement, shall be assessed against the
<br />property as follows:

<br />assessments shall be apportioned as fa~lows:
<br />1. The front footage of a parcel of property along
<br />the alley sha11 be ascertained and that footage shall be
<br />weighted, on the basis of permissible use of the parcel
<br />under the zoning of the city, by multiplying the footage by
<br />the factor indicated for that use in the following table:
