Section 9.01,5 0~ t~~ie Eugene Code, 1971, is hereby <br />amended by adding in alphabetical order therein the following: <br />9.015 <br />Solar access. An unobstructed exposure to avail-- <br />ablz solar radiation during daytime hours for the pur- <br />pose of allowing solar radiation to be used to meet a <br />portion of a building's energy requirements. <br />Section 2. Subsection ~4~ of Section 9.030 of the Eugene Code, <br />1971, is hereby amended by relettering subsections fib} , ~c} , ~d} and <br />(e) to (c) , (.d~ , (e) and' (f) respectively, and adding a new subsec- <br />tion fib} thereto, to provide: <br />9.030 Minor Partition Procedure. <br />~4} <br />4 <br />b _. ~'nless not feaslb,~e because of property size, <br />con~i.guration, ore~;tation, vegetation, or topography, <br />the minor partition shah. allow maximum solar access <br />to south--facing building walls on the shortest da of <br />y <br />the year between l0 a.m. and 3 p.m. <br />Section 3.
