ORDINANCE N0, 1S7S$ <br />AN ORDINANCE CONCERNING FUNCTIONS AND NlEMBERSHIF <br />OF THE JOINT HOUSING COMMITTEE; .AMENDING SECTIONS <br />2.252 AND 2.254 OF THE EUGENE CODE, 1971; AND <br />DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. <br />THE CITY OF EUGENE DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: <br />Section 1. Subsection {j} of Section 2.252 of the Eugene Cade, <br />1971, is hereby amended to read and provide: <br />2.252 Joint Housin. Committee - Functions. <br />{j ~ Developing an annual worl~ plan reflecting the <br />goals, objectives, and programs of the joint housing <br />committee; and <br />Section 2, Section 2.252 of the Eugene Cade, 1971, is hereby <br />amended by adding a new subsection {.k~ thereto, to read and provide: <br />2.252 Joint Housin Committee - Functions, <br />~k~ Such other activities not in conflict with <br />adopted policies, as may be appropriate ,for implemen- <br />tation and furtherance of the city's housing program. <br />Section 3 . Subsection {.l ~ { c ~ of Section 2.2 54 of the Eugene <br />Code, 1971, is hereby amended to read and provide: <br />2.254 Joint Housin Committee ~- Membership. <br />{1} <br />{c} One member from a recognized neighborhood <br />organization appointed by the council; and <br />Section 4 . Subsection { 1 ~ of Section 2 , 2 54 of the Eugene Code , <br />1971, is hereby amended by adding a new subsection {d~ thereto, to <br />read and provide: <br />2.254 Joint Housin Committee - Membershi . <br />{1} <br />{d} Four members from the public, interviewed <br />and appointed by the council. <br />Ordinance ~- 1 <br />
