Uniform Fire Code - Exce tions Amendments. <br />41j The Uniform Fire Code as adopted by section <br />8,190 shall not include the code's Appendix C, Appendix E, <br />Appendix F, Appendix I, and Appendix J, but shall include its <br />Appendix A, Appendix B, Appendix D, Appendix G and Appendix H. <br />~2j Section 2,201 of the Uniform Fire Code is <br />amended to read: <br />Sec. 2.201 - Infections and Unsafe Buildings. <br />rr_i.ui.u.urr~~~.ii ~ nrr_ir.~rr. .~oomi~r_wr_~nunrni~~i~irurrmur_~.miur~.nunrno~~wr <br />raj The Bureau of Fire Prevention shall inspect <br />as often as may be necessary, all buildings and <br />premises, including such other hazards or <br />appliances, as the chief may designate for the pur~- <br />pose of ascertaining and causing to be corrected <br />any conditions which would reasonably tend to cause <br />fire ar contribute to its spread, or any violation <br />of the purpose or pravis ions of this code and of <br />any other law or standard affecting fire safety. <br />4bj All buildings or structures which are <br />structurally unsafe or not provided with adequate <br />egress, or which constitute a fire hazard, or are <br />otherwise dangerous to human life, or which in <br />relation to existing use constitute a hazard to <br />safety or health, or public welfare, by reason of <br />inadequate maintenance, dilapidation, obsolescence, <br />fire hazard, disaster, damage, or abandonment, as <br />specified in this code or any other effective <br />ordinance, are, for the purpose of this section, <br />unsafe buildings. All such unsafe buildings are <br />hereby declared to be public nuisances and may, in <br />addition to all other remedies, be abated by <br />repair, rehabilitation, demolition, or removal in <br />accordance with the procedure specified in section <br />203-B of the Administrative Code as amended by section <br />8, 005 ~2j of the Eugene Cade, 1971. <br />~3j Section 2.302 of the Uniform Fire Code is <br />amended to read; <br />Sec . 2 ., 3 0 2,.,.,,.~Boar,,,,.d~of A~~e is . Permits far <br />blasting, installation of flammable liquid tanks, auto <br />display and all other permits specifically designated as <br />requiring application to the Bureau of Fire Prevention <br />shall be applied for at and obtained directly from the <br />Bureau of Fire Prevention.
