THE CITY OF EUGENE DOES oRDATN AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. Section 3.QD5 of the Eugene Code, 1971, is hereby amended by amending the definition of Ambulance, and adding in alpha- betical order therein definitions fox First Aid vehicle and Invalid or ~~heel-Chair Coach, to provide as follows: 3.445 Definitions. For the purposes of this chapter, the following words and phrases shall mean: Ambulance. A privately owned motor vehicle for hire that is constructed, equipped, or regularly pro- vided or offered to be provided for the emergency transportation or transportation in the recumbent position of persons suffering from illness, injury, or disability. A privately owned orator ve- hicle for hire that is constructed, equipped, or regu- larly provided for the nonemergency transportation in the. sitting or non-recumbent position of persons suffering from illness, injury, or disability, and not requiring ambulance service.
