ORDINANCE NO. 15916 <br />AN ORDINANCE CONCERNING ZONING REGULATIONS; <br />AMENDING SECTIONS 9.450, 9.452, 9.464, 9.466, <br />9.4 7 D , 9.4 7 4 , AND 9.7 4 2 Off' THE EUGENE CODE , <br />1971; AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. <br />THE CITY OF EUGENE DOES ORDAIN AS FQLLOwS: <br />Section 1. Section 9.454 of the Eugene Code, 1971, is hereby <br />amended by deleting subparagraph ~i~, amending subparagraphs ~j~ and <br />(k), relettering subparagraphs (j),(k)~.(~;~~(~j~~(~~;~o) and (p} to (1}:,(j),(k), <br />(1),(m),(n),and (o) respectively, and adding after subparagraph <br />~o~ an unnumbered, unlettered paragraph to read and provide: <br />9.454 <br />~~} Parking areas; private. <br />~j} Parking garages; private. <br />Buildings and uses existing as of January 27, 1982 are <br />exempt from sections 9.612 to 9.626 pertaining to nonconform- <br />ing uses. <br />Section 2. Section 9.452 of the Eugene Code, 1971, is hereby <br />amended to read and provide: <br />9.452 Buildin s and Uses Permitted Canditionall . <br />~1~ In addition to the buildings and uses permitted <br />conditionally listed in sections 9.492 to 9.542, the hearings <br />official may grant a conditional use permit for any of the <br />following buildings and uses in accordance with the procedures <br />set forth in sections 9.696 to 9.722: <br />~a} Manufacturing, compounding, bottling, pro- <br />cessing, packaging, or treatment of food and beverage <br />products. <br />fib} Other uses similar to the uses permitted or <br />permitted conditionally. <br />~2} Upon finding that the fallowing proposed use is <br />dependent on or at least provides a direct service to people <br />engaged in industrial uses, the hearings official may grant a <br />conditional use permit for any of the following Buildin s and <br />g <br />uses in accordance with the procedures set forth in sections <br />9.696 to 9.722: <br />~a} Offices for engineers, architects, landscape <br />architects, surveyors, and those engaged in the prac- <br />tice of designing, drafting or graphics. <br />NDTE: Scr~~eners' error ~n section 9.45 is corrected. <br />Ordinance - 1 <br />
