ORDINANCE NO. 15916 AN ORDINANCE CONCERNING ZONING REGULATIONS; AMENDING SECTIONS 9.450, 9.452, 9.464, 9.466, 9.4 7 D , 9.4 7 4 , AND 9.7 4 2 Off' THE EUGENE CODE , 1971; AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. THE CITY OF EUGENE DOES ORDAIN AS FQLLOwS: Section 1. Section 9.454 of the Eugene Code, 1971, is hereby amended by deleting subparagraph ~i~, amending subparagraphs ~j~ and (k), relettering subparagraphs (j),(k)~.(~;~~(~j~~(~~;~o) and (p} to (1}:,(j),(k), (1),(m),(n),and (o) respectively, and adding after subparagraph ~o~ an unnumbered, unlettered paragraph to read and provide: 9.454 ~~} Parking areas; private. ~j} Parking garages; private. Buildings and uses existing as of January 27, 1982 are exempt from sections 9.612 to 9.626 pertaining to nonconform- ing uses. Section 2. Section 9.452 of the Eugene Code, 1971, is hereby amended to read and provide: 9.452 Buildin s and Uses Permitted Canditionall . ~1~ In addition to the buildings and uses permitted conditionally listed in sections 9.492 to 9.542, the hearings official may grant a conditional use permit for any of the following buildings and uses in accordance with the procedures set forth in sections 9.696 to 9.722: ~a} Manufacturing, compounding, bottling, pro- cessing, packaging, or treatment of food and beverage products. fib} Other uses similar to the uses permitted or permitted conditionally. ~2} Upon finding that the fallowing proposed use is dependent on or at least provides a direct service to people engaged in industrial uses, the hearings official may grant a conditional use permit for any of the following Buildin s and g uses in accordance with the procedures set forth in sections 9.696 to 9.722: ~a} Offices for engineers, architects, landscape architects, surveyors, and those engaged in the prac- tice of designing, drafting or graphics.
