.• ~a} Banks . <br />~_b } Barber shops , <br />~c} Beauty shops . <br />. ~d} Building maintenance.. <br />~.e} Convenience grocery stores with a maximum <br />. of 2, 600 square feet. <br />~.f} Parking areas, public. <br />. fig} Parking garages, public. <br />~h} Restaurants . <br />~ i } Service stations . <br />Buildings and uses existing as of January 27, 1982 are exempt <br />from sections 9.612 to 9.626 pertaining to non-conforming uses. <br />Section 7. Section 9.702 of the Eugene Code, 1971, is hereby <br />amended by adding a new subparagraph ~.d} thereto, to read and pro- <br />vide: <br />9.702 <br />~.d} In an M-l, M-2, or M-3 District, that the <br />proposed commercial use is dependent on or at least <br />provides a direct service to people engaged in indus- <br />trial uses. <br />Section 8. That the matters contained herein concern the <br />public welfare and safety, and in order to provide for the orderly <br />administration of the City's zoning ordinances, an emergency is <br />hereby declared to exist, and this Ordinance shall become effec- <br />tive immediately upon its passage by the City Council and approval <br />by the Mayor. <br />Passed by the City Council this Approved by the Mayor this <br />27th day of January, 1982 ~27_,~h_..~ay of Jany, 1982 <br />City Recorder Mayor <br />Ordinance - 7. <br />
