ORDINANCE NO, 18918 <br />AN ORDINANCE CONCERNING zONING REGULATIONS; <br />AMENDING SECTIONS 9.268, 9,5Q8, 9.512, 9,55Q <br />AND 9,688 OF THE EUGENE CODE, l9?l; AND DE- <br />CLARING AN EMERGENCY, <br />THE CITY OF EUGENE DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: <br />Section 1. Subsection 1, of subparagraph fib} of Section <br />9.265 of the Eugene Code, 1971, is hereby amended to read and ro- <br />p <br />vide: <br />9.268 <br />1, Sub-districts of each of the residen- <br />tial districts may be established provided hous- <br />ing as needed by all income groups can still be <br />accomodated at appropriate locations throughout <br />the city. The parent residential district re- <br />quirements sha11 apply to the respective sub- <br />districts except those regulations pertaining <br />to lot area per dwelling unit or density, Suffix <br />numbers, including but not limited to the follow- <br />ing examples, shall be noted on the zoning map <br />indicating the maximum number of dwelling units <br />permitted per gross acre, Gross acre includes <br />individual building sites, streets that do ar <br />will run, through the subject area, abutting <br />street areas dedicated to the public by the de- <br />veloper, and areas that are ar will be devoted <br />to uses dearly associated with residential uses <br />in the subject area, including but not limited <br />to easements and drainage channels, The follow- <br />ing are examples of suffixes for sub-districts <br />and their density equivalents: <br />Suffix Density Maximum <br />- Same as parent district <br />5/A Five dwelling units per grass acre <br />6/A Six dwelling units per gross acre <br />7.5/A 7-1/2 dwelling units per gross acre <br />.33/A One dwelling unit per three gross acres <br />Section 2. Section 9.508 of the Eugene Code, 1971, is hereby <br />amended by adding new subparagraphs fie} , ~f } , and fig} thereto, to <br />read and provide: <br />Ordinance - 1 <br />
