COUNTY, OREGO~ ) IN THE MATTER OF ENFORCEMENT OF ) CITY OF EUGENE PARKS & RECREATION ) DEPARTMENT RULES IN THAT PORTION ) OF ALTON BAKER PARK THAT LIES ) WITHIN THE CITY LIMITS OF EUGENE, ) OREGON -,' WHEREAS, a significant portion of Alton Baker park has been annexed to the City of Eugene, WHEREAS, the City of Eugene' therefore "can enforce'ordinances established by .Municipal Coqe within this portion of Alton Baker Park, WHEREAS, the City of Eugene Parks & Recreation Department utilizes departmental rules to further define and govern use of City of Eugene Parks, WHEREAS, these rules are not part of the Municipal Code, and therefore may only be enforced on lands managed by the Parks & Recreation Department unless permis'sion is granted by the land owner, WHEREAS, the County desires uniformity of rules for those parks, within the corporate limits of the City of Eugene, WHEREAS, the Coun~y has no adopted park rules, THEREFORE, the matter having been fully' considered by the Lane County Board of Commissioners, it is hereby ORDERED that the applicable City of Eugene Parks & Recreation Departmental Rules may be enforced within that portion of Alton Baker Park that lies within the corporate limits of the City of Eugene.
