<br />DEPARTMENT OF PARKS AND RECREATION <br /> <br />CITY OF EUGENE, OREGON <br /> <br />AMENDING THE PARK RULES BY ADDING A NEW SEC- <br />TION 1. 071 BANNING GLASS BEVERAGE CONTAINERS <br />WITHIN CITY PARKS. <br /> <br />Pursuant to the authority of Sections 2.812 et seq. of the <br /> <br /> <br />Eugene Code, 1971, the Executive Manager of the Department of <br /> <br /> <br />Parks and Recreation of the City of Eugene hereby adopts the <br /> <br />following amendment to the Park Rules: <br /> <br />A new Rule is hereby added to the Park Rules to be numbered <br /> <br />1.071 and to provide: <br /> <br />1.071 <br /> <br />GLASS BEVERAGE CONTAINERS. <br /> <br />Except as authorized in writing by the Executive <br />Manager of the Parks & Recreation Department, no person may <br />possess a beverage container made of glass in any City park <br />or County park within the City limits, or bring, carry or <br />transport any beverage container made of glass into any City <br />park or County park within the City limits. <br /> <br />The foregoing amendment to the Park Rules is adopted this <br />}Z+hday of January, 1987.
