ORDINANCE NO. ~gQSO An ordinance repealing ordinance i~o. 18941 and initiating the vacation of the following described alley, to-wit: As described on Exhibit "A" attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference. ~Ivorena Properties - Av 81-2~. THE CITY OF EUGE~~E DQES oRDAI~ AS FQLEOwS: Section 1. In order to insure an adeguate publication time, Ordinance ~o. 18941 adapted by the Council and approved by the Mayor on March 1Q,1982 is hereby repealed. Section 2. The City Council of the City of Eugene herein ini- tiates the vacation proceedings on its own authority without peti~- Lion or consent of the property owners, except as provided by statute, of the above .described alley. Section 3. A hearing shall be held upon the proposal to vacate the alley as herein provided, and the hearing shall be held on the 6th day of May, 1982, at noon Pacific Daylight Time of said date, at the Council Chambers at City Ha11, Eugene, oregon, at which time all persons will be heard upon objections or suggestions with regard to the vacation, and at said time the Council will pravide for the vacation of the alley or deny such vacation, and in case the vacation is made, will pravide and make provision for any damages sustained by local assessment. Section :~. The City Recorder is hereby directed to immediately publish once each week for four consecutive weeks in a newspaper pub- lished in Eugene, Lane County, oregon, notice of the proposed vaca- tion.
