ORD INAir~CE NO. 19 D 0 9 <br />AN ORDINANCE CONCERNING THE PUBLIC LAND DISTRICT; <br />AMENDING SECTIONS 9.268, 9.534, 9.540, 9.542, AND <br />9.582 OF THE EUGENE CODES 1971; REPEALING SECTION <br />9.282 OF THAT CODE; AND ADDING SECTIONS 9.400, <br />9.402, AND 9.404 TO SHAT CODE. <br />THE CITY OF EUGENE DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: <br />Section 1. Subsection ~.a} of Section 9.268 of the Eugene Code, <br />1971, is hereby amended by adding the following thereto: <br />9.268 <br />~a} Use districts. <br />PL Public Land. <br />Section 2. Section 9.252 of the Eugene Code, 1971, is hereby <br />repealed. <br />Section 3. The fallowing new sections are hereby added to the <br />Eugene Code, 1971, to read and provide: <br />PL Public Land District <br />9.400 Description and Purpose.. The PL Public Land District <br />is primarily~~nten~ded for public and semi-public uses. <br />These uses are often adjacent of residential areas so external <br />impacts must be carefully considered. If there is reason to <br />expect that a parcel once in public use may again be needed for <br />public use, a limited number of additional uses, not all public, <br />are allowed on an interim basis, but the public agency must re-~ <br />tain parcel ownership. Except as provided far in community <br />resource centers, this district is not intended for private uses <br />by original or permanent occupants. Also, this district is not <br />the only one in which public and semi-public uses can locate. <br />9.402 Permitted Buildings and Uses. In the PL Public Land <br />District, the following buildings and uses are permitted <br />subject to the general provisions and exceptions beginning with <br />and following section 9.532» <br />~a} Accessory buildings and uses normal and inci- <br />dental to the buildings and uses permitted in this sec- <br />tion and section 9.404. <br />Ordinance - 1 <br />
