ORDINANCE NO. 1 S39g <br />AN ORDINANCE ORDERING A SPECIAL ELECTION TO BE <br />CONDUCTED BY THE LANE COUNTY ELECTION DEPARTMENT <br />ON THE 26TH DAY OF JUNE, 1979, FOR THE PURPOSE OF <br />SUBMITTING TO THE LEGAL VOTERS OF THE CITY OF <br />EUGENE A MEASURE AUTHORIZTi~'G THE EUGENE CITY COUNCIL <br />TO LEVY THROUG~iOUT THE CITY $7,504,210 MORE IN TAX <br />REVENUES T~~AN IS N0~` AUTHORIZED BY THE OREGON CONSTI -- <br />TUTION, ARTICLE XZ, SECTTQN 11, ADOPTING POLLING <br />PLACES AND PROVTDTN~G 'FOR ALL ACTS NECESSARY FOR THE <br />CARRYING ON OF SAID ELECTION; AND DECLARING AN <br />EMERGENCY. <br />THE CITY OF EUGENE DOES ORDAIN ,~5 FoLLOWS: <br />Section 1.
