18~~s <br />8.025 Structural Specialt Code - Amendments, Chapters 1, 2 <br />and 3 of the 1976 Edition of the Un~.form Building Code <br />are hereby amended as fo~.lnws: <br />~l} Section 202, Powers and Duties of Building Official, <br />Subsection ~.e is amended to read: <br />to read: <br />fie} Stogy orders. Whenever any. building work is <br />being dare contrary to the provisions of this Cade, or <br />the building official has probable cause to believe that <br />any provision of the Eugene Cade, 1971 is being violated <br />in connection with the project of which the work being <br />performed, is a part, the building official may order <br />the work stopped by notice ,in writing served on any per- <br />sons engaged in the doing~or causing of such work to <br />be done, and any such persons shall forthwith stop such <br />work until authorized by the building official to pro- <br />ceed with the work. <br />~2} 5ectiori 204, entitled Board of Appeals is amended <br />(subsection (e~ thereof is deleted) <br />.~ 2 } The present subsection ~..2 }. is renumbered ~_3 ~ . <br />~ 3 } . A set of plans and <br />specifications illustrative and explanatory of the appli- <br />cation ar, if the building official requires for pur- <br />poses of administering this code,. two such sets, shall <br />accompany the application. The building official may <br />require plans and specifications so submitted to be pre- <br />pared by an engineer or architect licensed by the state. <br />zn all applicable cases the building official shall en- <br />force the provisions of ORS 460.210--460.23D and OAS <br />. 671.010--671.220. <br />Exceptions. Plans <br />and specifications shall be drawn to scale upon substan- <br />tial paper or cloth and be of sufficient clarity to indi- <br />cate the nature and extent of the work proposed. They <br />shall show in detail that it will conform to the provi- <br />sions of this structural specialty code and all other <br />.relevant laws, ordinances, rules and regulations. The <br />first sheet of each set of plans shall state the house <br />and street address of the work and the name and address <br />of the owner of the land yr building where the work is <br />to be done and of the person who prepared the plans.
