ORDINANCE NO. ~85Z5 <br />AN ORDINANCE CONCERNING THE JEREMIAH AND SUSAN S. <br />FOGELSON APPLICATION FOR MULTIPLE-UNIT PROPERTY <br />TAx ExEMPTION, AND APPROVING APPLICATION No. MEP--79-1 <br />THE CITY COUNCIL of THE CITY OF EUGENE FINDS THAT~- <br />Jeremiah and, Susan S. Fogelson are the owners of real. property <br />located at the northeast corner of Sth Avenue a,~~ Lawrence Street, <br />more particularly described as Tax Lots 12000.,~2~00,12200. and X2300, Assessor's <br />Map 17-03-31-1 2. They have submitted an application to the Department <br />of Housing and Community Conservation ~HCC~ pursuant to the City's <br />Multiple-Unit Rental Housing Property Tax Exemption Program, as <br />adapted by Ordinance No. 18021 on July ll, 1977, with respect to <br />the improvements to be constructed thereon. <br />As required by the standards and guidelines attached as Exhibit <br />"B" to Resolution No. 2711 adopted on July 11, 1977, establishing the <br />procedures for review of such applications, as amended by Resolution <br />No. 3165 on June 11, 1979, HCC has solicited recommendations and <br />comments from the Project Advisory Committee. This Committee has <br />indicated approval of the project. <br />The City's Joint Housing Committee submitted its favorable <br />recommendation on September 18, 1979. HCC has reviewed the applica-~ <br />tion and supportive material and has adopted f findings.and recommended <br />approval of the application, subject to certain conditions herein <br />more specifically set forth. <br />The project is an eligible structure as defined in the Stan- <br />dards and Guidelines, and the applicant has agreed to include within <br />the project design elements of benefit to the public as set forth <br />below. <br />The project is in conformance with all applicable local plans <br />and planning regulations. <br />The applicant has complied with all the provisions of the City's <br />Standards and Guidelines. <br />Now, therefore, based upon the findings set forth above, and <br />the findings of HCC and the Project Advisory Committee, which are <br />hereby incorporated by reference and adapted by the Council as <br />additional findings, <br />THE CITY OF EUGENE DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: <br />Section 1. The application of Jeremiah and Susan S. Fogelson <br />for a property tax exemption under the City's Multiple-Unit Property <br />Tax Exemption Program far improvements to be constructed upon the <br />property located at the northeast corner of 8th Avenue and Lawrence <br />Street, more particularly described as e Tax Lots 12000, ~ ~ 2~ 00, ~ 2200, and 12340 <br />Ordinance - 1 <br />
