<br />~. Pluzr~bn~_~a~,peals. The board, for the
<br />purpose of .heax~~ng p~.~umbi~ng .code appeals , shall
<br />consist of a licensed professional engineer,
<br />architect, building contractor, or superintendent
<br />of building construction, a plumbing contractor,
<br />and journeyman plumber. Three members of the five
<br />members shall constitute a quorum, one of whom
<br />shall be a plumbing contractor or journeyman
<br />plumber.
<br />3. Mechanical appeals. The board, for the
<br />purpose of hearing mechanical cods appeals, shall
<br />consist of a licensed professional engineer, archi-~
<br />tect, building contractor, superintendent of build-
<br />ing construction, mechanical cheating} contractor,
<br />and journeyman heating, ventilation, or air condi-
<br />tioning installer. Three members of the five mem-
<br />bers shall constitute a quorum, one of whom shall
<br />be a mechanical contractor or journeyman heating,
<br />ventilation, or air conditioning installer.
<br />4. Structural, life safety, fire code
<br />appeals. The board, for the purpose of hearing
<br />structural specialty code, life safety code, or
<br />fire code appeals, shall consist of a licensed
<br />professional engineer, architect, building con-
<br />tractor, or superintendent of building construction,
<br />.and any two members from the six remaining members.
<br />Three members of the five members shall constitute
<br />a quorum, one of whom shall be an architect or li-
<br />censed engineer.
<br />~:d Terms of a ointment. of the group composed
<br />of a licensed professional engineer, architect, and
<br />building contractor or superintendent of building con-
<br />struction, one shall be appointed for five ~_5} years,
<br />one for three ~_3}, years, and one for one ~_1} year. Of
<br />the electrical contractor and journeyman supervising
<br />electrician, one shall be appointed for four ~4} years
<br />and the other for two ~.2} years. of the plumbing con-
<br />tractor and journeyman plumber, one shall be appointed
<br />for four ~.4 } years and the other for two ~2 } years . of
<br />the mechanical cheating} contractor and journeyman heat-~
<br />ing, ventilation, or air conditioning installer, one
<br />shall be appointed for four ~.4 } years and the other for
<br />two ~2} years. Thereafter, each new member shall serve
<br />far five years or until his successor has been appointed.
<br />fie} Procedures of the board. All hearings shall
<br />be public, and the appellant, appellant's representa-
<br />tives, the city's enforcement official and any other
<br />person whose interest nay be affected by the matter on
<br />appeal shall be given an opportunity to be heard. The
<br />board shall affirm, modify, or reverse the decision of
<br />the building official by a concurring vote of three
