<br />Experience: <br />Five years of progressively responsible experience overseeing and <br />performing administrative investigations and performing program development, analysis, <br /> <br />and complex professional staff support preferably in the public sector. <br /> <br />Training: <br />A Bachelor’s degree from an accredited school in public administration, <br />business administration, human resources, criminal justice, or a related field is required. <br />A Master’s degree or Juris Doctorate from an accredited school is desirable. <br /> <br /> <br />Other Requirements <br /> <br />Candidates are subject to a background investigation. <br /> <br />Candidates for this position may not have any past employment by or past contract within <br />the past 20 years with the City of Eugene Police Department. <br /> <br />Possession of or ability to obtain, and maintain an appropriate, valid Oregon driver’s license. <br /> <br />Respond to incidents within a reasonable period of time. <br /> <br /> <br />WORKING CONDITIONS <br /> <br />Daily use of computer. May be periods of standing and sitting for prolonged periods. Periodic <br />attendance at meetings or activities outside of normal working hours.
