<br />Public comment was collected on the proposed work plan and is attached for reference. A web-based <br />survey was posted and advertised through local news media, the City’s website, and an email <br />notification to the Planning Division’s interested parties list. Approximately 62 individuals responded to <br />the survey. <br /> <br /> <br />RELATED CITY POLICIES <br />Individual items within the work program implement council policy direction to prioritize the annual <br />Planning Commission and Planning Division work program. <br /> <br /> <br />COUNCIL OPTIONS <br /> <br /> <br />1.Approve the attached work plan. <br /> <br />2.Amend the work plan by moving, deleting or adding tasks. <br /> <br />3.Not approve the attached work plan and give specific direction to the City Manager related to next <br />steps. <br /> <br /> <br />CITY MANAGER’S RECOMMENDATION <br /> <br />The City Manager recommends Option 1, approving the FY2010 Planning Commission and Planning <br />Division Work Plan. If the council approves the motion, as recommended, staff will proceed with the <br />implementation of work program tasks. At this time, it is anticipated that the council will have additional <br />opportunities to provide direction on the following work program tasks: <br />? <br /> <br /> Eugene Comprehensive Land Assessment (ECLA) – Multiple opportunities planned for September <br />through December 2009. Post ECLA discussions with the council will address policy implications <br />of the assessment and will begin in 2010. <br />? <br /> <br />Metro Plan/ Transplan Updates - Multiple opportunities to be determined for 2010 through 2012. <br />? <br /> <br />Infill Compatibility – Public hearing and council action planned for fall 2009.
