37/9 Now, therefore, based on the above findings, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EUGENE, a Municipal Corporation of the State of Oregon as follows: Secti on 1. The policies as set forth in the Fairmount /University of Oregon Specs a Area Study are hereby adopted as a refinement of the Eugene- Springfield Metropolitan Area General Plan for the Fai of Oregon special study area, and any explanatory text following the policies is recognized as clarifying and explaining the intent of the policies. Section 2, The Land Use Diagram included i n the Fai of Oregon Special Area Study is hereby adopted as a refinement of the Eugene- Springfield Metropolitan Area General Plan Diagram, and the explanatory text di scussi ng each segment of the Diagram is recognized as clarifying and providing further explanation of the intent of the Metropolitan P l a n Diagram. Section 3, The University of Oregon Deve P o l i c y for the East Campus Area is recognized as a statement of University policy for land under their ownership but is not adopted as C i t y policy. Section 4. The proposals set forth in the Fairmount/University of Oregon SpeciaT Area Study are hereby recognized as potential means of reaching or implementing adopted p o l i c i e s , but are not adopted as City policy, Section 5.
