RESOLUTION NOS 1815 <br />WHEREAS, it appears necessary to the Common Council of the <br />City of Eugene, Oregon that the operating expense of the City <br />for the fiscal year commencing July 1, 1970 and ending June 30, <br />1971 will require $ i. 364,838 more in tax revenues than ' the <br />City is authorized to raise by taxation within the Limitation <br />contained in Article XI., Section 11 of the Constitution of the <br />State of Oregon. <br />NOW THEREFORE,, <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EUGENE, <br />OREGON, that the measure hereinafter set forth be s ubmitted to <br />the legal Voters of said City of Eugene, Oregon at the Special <br />Election to be held on May 26, 1970 from 8% A.M. , Pacific Day - <br />light Time, to 8:00 P .M. , Pac ific Daylight Time as authorized <br />and provided by Ordinance No. 15890 adopted by the Common Council' <br />February 24, 1970, and approved by the Mayor February 25, 1970 <br />' for its adoption or rejection, said measure shall be as follows: <br />MEASURE SUBMITTED,,TO THE <br />1 <br />VOTERS BY THE COMMON COUNCIL <br />AN ACT <br />Authorizing the Common Council to levy $ 1,364,838 more in <br />tax revenues than the City is authorized to raise by taxation with- <br />in the six per cent limitation upon the City's tax levy as cono" <br />twined in Article XI, Section 'll of the .Constitution of Oregon. <br />THE CITY OF EUGENE DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS t <br />BE IT ENACTED BY THE ELECTORS OF THE CITY OF EUGENE OREGON: <br />Section 1 .
