An Ordinance levying assessments for the improvement o~ Fairmount Boulevard .from tho northeast.corner of Lot "A" in Block 2V, to the southeast corner of Lot Seven in Block 2V, of .the Plat of Fairmount Heights was read. ~toved by [4r. Doff, Beconded by t4r. Striker that the rules be suspe~ided mid the Ordinance read the second time by title, Motion ca~ried. On motion by Mr. Striker, seconded by Hr, !~{etealf the Ordinance was laid over until the next meeting, and tile Recorder instructed to ~dver~ise the same according to law. ~otion carried. A~0rdinance rel~ative to doors in public buildings in the City of Eugene was re~d and upon motion by ~r. Striker, seconded by }~_~r. W~rnoek the ~ules were suspended and the Ordinance was read the second time by title. Upon motion by Mr. Vfarnock, seconded by _Mr. Bell the rules were furtir~r suspended and the 0rdi- ne.nee read the third time by title ~nd placed upon its final p~ss~ge. The ayes and nays were called. Councilmen voting aye ~,~etealf, W~rnock, ~Xoppe, BeLl, Dorr,. Striker, nay none~ absent Hensill and Bean· The Ordinance was declared carried, ~nd ~.nnbered #1282. ~r. Skips'forth asked for some assistance relative to drawing tt~e 0rdino~nce for the moval of tlouses. Upon motion by ~,~r.
