Finance Co~?~uitt ee. <br /> <br />J. R. Veitch appeared before the Council in reference to the ~;rad.in~ and <br /> <br />r~acads~.izing of 1Vth Street and Ferry Street. The matter w~s referred to the <br /> <br />Street Cmmnittee to investigate and i~ave the prope~ Ordinance drawn for <br />these improvements. <br /> <br /> Petitions for a street light at 20tk Street and University Ave. and at <br />15th and High Streets were referred to ~he Fire & Water Co~mnittee. <br /> <br /> The following ~petitions for sewers were read and on motion referred to the <br />Sewer Com~uittee for consideration: <br /> <br /> 1. On Walnut Street from l{ain Trunk Sewer to Fairmount Boulevard. <br /> <br /> 2. Between Agate and Beach Streets from 15th Street to Railroad. <br /> <br />3. Between ~,,~oss and Villard Streets from Fairmuunt Boulevard north to <br /> connect with the proposed sewer 0n 13th Street. <br /> <br />ti., ~n t~e ali. er between Colt~bia Street and Agate Street beginning at <br /> Fairmount Boulevard and rtmni~.~ north to connect with the Main Tru~k <br /> Sewer at tt~e S. P. R. R. tracks. <br /> <br />5. Beginning at !Sth Ave. and rurming north in the alley between Onyx and <br /> Emerald Stre'ets to connect witt~ tt~e ~,~ain Tru~ Sewer at ti~e Souti~ern <br /> pacific R. R. track.~ <br /> <br />6. In the alley between Orchard and Villard Boulevard, as the same is <br /> platted and of record, to connect with the ~{ain True. Sewe~ ~%ear the <br /> O. & C. R. R., and to extend as far south as practical to construct. <br /> <br />7. Co~'~.eneing at ti~e sewer on the Sei~ool Grmmds of ti~e Condon School and <br /> run thence south as far as necessary to give complete sewerage for the <br /> property between Hess Ave. and Columbia Ave. <br /> <br />8. Along the most Practical route to aoco~mnodate the property between <br /> Walnut and Orohard Streets f~om Franklin Boulevard to Fair~?,ount Boul. <br /> <br />R.
