Cmmci]n.uen voting <br /> aye }{ensill, Johnson, },{e~urphey, Doff, Bell and Striker, nay none, absent Koppe <br /> and Bean. The Resolution was declared adopted. <br /> <br /> An Ordinance for the construction of a sewe~ in the alley between l~th <br /> <br />Avenue and 5th Avenue from a point opposite Northeast corner Lot l, Block 1, <br /> <br />Walters & Seifferts Addition to excavated Trunk Sewer on Polk Street and repeal- <br /> <br />lng Ordinance #1379 was read ,and passed its second and third readings by title <br />under suspension of the rule and was placed upon its final passage. Council- <br /> <br />men voting aye 6, nay none, absent 2. ~e 0rdin~nce was declared passed ~nd <br /> <br />muub er ed #lk01 <br /> An 0rdinanc e <br /> <br />son and Hllyard Streets from the Nillrace North to the alley running West to <br />Patterson Street, thence West in said alley to' a point 80 feet east of Patterson <br />Street, thence North through the property of Nfs. Councilmen voting aye 6, nay none, absent 2. <br />The Ordinance was declared passed and numbered #11~02. <br /> <br /> An Ordinance repealings, Ordinance No. 137[~ was read and passed its second <br /> <br />and third readings by title under suspension of the rule 5nd was placed upon'its <br />final passage. Councilmen voting ~ye 6, n~y none, absent 2. <br /> <br />The Ordinance was declared passed and ntunbered #l[~0. 3.. <br /> <br /> Councilman Johnson, as Chairman of the Judiciary Committee, introduced an <br /> <br />Ordinance revoking the franchise of ti~e Portland, khU3ene & Eastern Railroad Co. <br /> <br />so far as the same relates to 8th Street from ~rmnklin Street to Blair Street, <br />and repealing Ordinance #1178 so far as the same relates to said 8th Street. <br /> <br />The Ordinance was read and passed its second and third readings by title under <br />suspension of the rule ~nd was placed upon its final passage. . Councilmen vot- <br />ing aye 6, nay none, absent 2. The Ordinance was declared passed and nt%mber- <br /> <br /> Recommendation of the I~ire & Water Co~ittee that a ~treet lamp be in- <br /> <br />stalled at 5th & Olive Street was on motion adopted. <br /> <br /> Nr. Svarvem%d called attention of the Council to the condition of inter- <br /> <br />sections of Fairmount Boulevard with 21st Street and Cohunbia Avenue, also to <br />the matter' of curbing, and these matters were on motion referred to the Street <br /> <br /> <br />
