Resol~tion~.deelaring the intention of the Co~e, il to change Eighth Avenue <br />by wideni~ the same ~rom the West line of Van B~u-en Street to the center line of <br /> <br />Ch~nbers Street and directing ti~e ~]~gineer to make a survey, plat and description of <br /> <br />the proposed change and file the sar. e with ti~e City Recorder was read, and a motion <br /> <br />was made, seconded and carried to adopt ti~e Resolution <br /> <br />A ResOlution ~nd amaexed Act providing for the submission to the electors <br /> <br />of the City of 2kv~ene at the General Election to be held in ,'~aid City on April <br /> <br />6, 1911~, 'a Ci~arter amendz~.ent providi~ for the issuance and sale of ~25,000.00 of <br />"Armory Bonds" wa's read and s motion was r. ade and seconded to adopt the Resolution. <br />Ti~o ayes and nays were called; Cotu~cilmen votin~ aye 7, nay none, absent 1. Th_e <br /> <br />~ ~esolution was declared adopted, and said Re,'~olution and proposed Ct!arter s~-!endment <br /> <br />were filed, on said Jam~ary 26, 19!h. <br /> <br /> An 0rdinanee providi~g for.tl~e construction of a sidewalk abutti~[{ the herei~l- <br />after described property in the City of ~4~ene w~.~s read the third time and placed <br /> <br />upon its final passable. Cmuueilmen voting aye l{ensi!l, Johnson, .t~cHurphey and <br /> <br />Bell, nay Koppe, Dorr .and Beytien, absent Bean. The Ordinance was deolare¢.t passed <br /> <br />and mnnb er e d <br /> <br />The Co~ittee ~n objections to Charnelton Street pavi~lg asked for another <br /> <br />week in wi~ici~ to prepare and :~ubmit a writ~_.en report. ~{otion was made, seconded <br /> <br />and carried to £-,,rant, the req,.~.i~ed time. <br /> <br />Attorney ~,~. V.__?arsons appeared for Ad Lombard asking an adjustment of the ~ <br /> <br />agreezuent between Lombard and the City in regard to crossing his land by the Trunk <br /> <br />Sewe~.
