Motion was <br />declared carried and so o=dered. <br /> <br /> An Ordinance l~evying ~ssessments for the improvement of Ninth Avenue East <br />from the East line of High Street to the Railroad tracks of the Oregon & California <br />Railroad Company was read the second time and objections called for, and objections <br />in writing were presented by M. T. Awbrey, also oral objections by Earl McNutt and <br />Mrs.. Irene Bangs. No obher objections were offered. Motion was made, seconded <br />and c~rried that the Council now finds tl~t the objections presented ~'re~not valid <br />or prope~ objections, and that there is no error in the assessment as proposed, and <br />that the Ordinance be ..placed upon its third reading and passage. The Ordinance <br />was read the third tim~e and declared upon its passage. , Councilmen voting aye <br />6, nay. none, absent 2~_ The Ordinance was declared passed and numbered #1663. <br /> <br /> An Ordinance' levying assessments for the construction of m cement sidewalk <br /> <br />abUtting~ the property _desorihed in Section 2 of this Ordinance (~arie A.
