N0V~ER 50, 191k. <br /> <br />Lane County, Oregon, and directi~ and advertising the same for sale in accord- <br />ance with Chapter V. of Title XXV1 of Lord's Oregon Laws, of the State of Oregon <br /> ¢ <br /> <br />was read and passed its 'second and t~Lird readings by title under suspension of <br /> <br />the rule and was placed upon its final passage. The ayes and nays were called; <br /> <br />Councilmen voti~ ~ye Johnson, Parks, ~cI~x~phey, Bog~ue, Bell, Devereax~ and <br />Beytien, nay none, absent Goodpasture. The Ordinance was declared passed <br /> <br />and mu~bered#1666. · <br /> <br /> An Ordinance approving the survey and report and plat of the City Engi-' <br />neet for the opening and extension or.Tenth Avenue West from Van Buren Street <br /> <br />West llk feet, more or less, in the City of Eugene,'and appointing viewers to <br />view such proposed street and make assessment of damages and benefits was read <br /> <br />and passed its second and third readings by title under suspension of the <br /> <br />rule and was placed upon its final passage. Councilmen voting aye 7, nay none,' <br />absent G. oodpasture. The Ordinance was declared p~ssed and n~bered#1667. <br /> <br /> The report of viewers on the proposed opening and extension of,Nineteen- <br /> <br />th Avenue from the East line of Will~mette Street to the west line of Driver- <br />ton Addition having been presented on Novembe~ 23rd for consideration and hear- <br />lng of objections thereto and said consideration ~nd heaPiI~ h~ving been con- <br />tinued until this date, Councilmsn Hc}~[urphey moved that the Councilnow finds <br />and. determines that the objections made to the report of said viewers in said <br /> <br />matter have _been fully considered by the Council and that the Council now finds <br />that said objections ~re unwarranted and not proper objections and that said <br /> <br />objections are insufficient and, in.the judgment of the Council, not borne out <br />by the facts, and that said objections be now and hereby overruled and denied. <br />~otion was seconded and c~rried. <br /> <br />An Ordinance approving the report of the viewers in the matter of the <br />opening and extension of Nineteenth Avenue East from the East line of Willam- <br /> <br />ette Street to the %Vest line of Driverton Addition was read and passed its <br /> <br />second and third readings by title under suspension ,of the rule and was placed <br />upon its final passage. ~ounci]~aen voti~ aye 7, nay none, absent Goodpasture <br />The Ordinance was declared passed ~nd numbered #1668. <br /> <br /> ~ouncilman Mc~urphey moved that the Council accept the deed tendered <br />by E. E. Quimby and wife to ~ 7 foot ~lley strip between Seventh and Eighth <br />Avenues V;est of Blair Boulevard at the consideration requested by Nr. Quimby, <br />namely, the cancellation of the proportion of the cost of paving which would <br />properly fall against said 7 foot strip, amounting to tt~e s~m of $35.12. <br /> <br /> <br />
