~EBRUARY 23, 1915. <br /> <br />Council Ch~abers, Eugene, Oregon, February 23, 1915. <br /> <br />Council was called to order in special session at 1~ o'clock P. }~{. <br /> <br />by Mayor Yoran Present Councilmen Jotu~son, Parks, I~,{c~.~rphey, Bell and <br /> <br />Goodpasture; absent Bogue, Devereaux and Beytien. <br /> <br /> The Fire &~Water Co~.mittee reported that they found that the g~a~antee <br /> <br />on the auto truck which they had been authorized to purchase would not be fur- <br /> <br />nished in case hard.tires were supplied, and tt~at after investigation they <br /> <br />were of the opinion that the hard tires would impair the life of the truck, <br /> <br />and recommended tttat U. S. Nobby Tread tires be substituted on the truck to be <br />ordered by the ~'ire ~& Water Committee. The price of the tr~{ek equipped with' <br />such tires and one extra tire F.O.B. k~gene to be ~1~0. ~,~otion was ma~'ie, <br /> <br />seconded and carrie~ that the report be adopted and tht~t the Fire & Water Committee <br /> <br />place the order. <br /> <br /> Qn motion the Council adjourned. <br /> <br /> <br />
