Present Counei]~en Jotmson, Parks, ~eNurphey, <br /> <br />Bo~ue, Bell and Goodpasture; absent Beytien and Devereaux. <br /> The call df the meeting was read. <br /> <br /> The Fire and '~ater Conunittee reported that one of the Fire horses was not <br /> fit for service and the condition of fire apparatus and needs oF the department <br /> demanded i]m~.edi~te consideration, and recoy~3nended that the Council p~rehase a <br /> Buick truck with solid tires at a price of ~1500, and that the question of in- <br /> stalling the chemical tank of the fire wagon on the new truck or the purct~ase of <br /> a new chemical tank for the auto truck be left in the hands of the Fire & Water <br /> Co~mnittee with power to act. ~,~otion was made, seconded and carried to adopt <br /> the recommendation. <br /> <br /> On ~aotion tt~e Council adjourned. <br /> <br /> <br />
