M., and was called to order by ~ayor Bell. Preser{t Councilmen Parks, Peterson, Nosher, Goodpasture and Quimby; absent Councilmen Polders, Koppe and Devereaux. The call of the meeting was read; whereupon the StReet co~mmittee recommended that a contract be let to the Clark & Henery Cohstruction Co. for removing the old curbing and laying pavement on the South side of Eleventh Avenue fr~a Willamette Street to Olive Street, and construction of an approach to the City Hall for the proposed fire department, in accordance with plans and specifications of the Engineer on file in the Recorder's Office, at an approximate cost of $1253.15, in accordance with theil' bid as submitted to the Street Committee.
