The ayes and nays were called; Councilmen voting aye <br />Parks, Polders, Peterson, Mosher, Goodpasture and Quimby, nay none, absent <br />Koppe and Devereaux. Motion was declared carried and so ordered. <br /> <br /> The Special Committee on City Hall alterations submitted the plans of <br />Architect Hunzieker for the fire department with a recommendation that the sam_e <br />be adopted, except that the plan of drying racks be rejected and a tower for <br />drying t~e hose be substituted. Motion was made,'seconded and carried to <br />adopt the recommendation. <br /> <br /> Motion was made, seconded and carried directing the Building Committee <br />and Inspector of Buildings to go ~head with the work of reconstructing the <br />City Hall to house the Fire Department, under the plans adopted. <br /> <br /> The Fire & Water Committee reco~aended that the City sell a hose cart <br />to the City of Creswell for $50.00~ On motion the matter was left in the <br />hands of the Fire & Water Committee with power to act. <br /> <br /> The request of the Sisters of Mercy Hospital for the use of the City <br />roller in the improvement of a private drive way was referred to the Street <br />Committee with power to act. <br /> <br /> Motion was made, seconded and carried that the Cotmcil adjourn to <br /> <br />meet November 15, 1915, at 7:30 o'clock P.
