Council Ch~abers, Ehigene, Oregon, December 13, 1915. <br /> <br /> Council met in relD~lar monthly session, and was called to order by <br /> <br />~ayor Bell. Present Councilmen Parks, Polders~ Koppe, Peterson, <br /> <br />Goodp~sture and Quimby; absent De,]erea~x. <br /> <br /> !,~lnutes of Council meetings of November 8th, 1Sth, 22nd and 29th were <br /> <br />read and ~pproved. <br /> <br /> Petition for street lights on Seventeenth Avenue ~t the in~ePsections of <br />Olive a~d Charnelton Streets, and also a petition for a street light at the <br />intersection of First Avenue ~nd }.~adison Street were referred to the Fire & <br />V~ateP Co~.~aittee. <br /> <br /> Report of ~,~iss Bertha Dorris, Advisory ~,~atron, for the ~.,.onth of <br /> <br />November was x, ead and filed. <br /> <br /> The repo~t of the Building ~nspeetor for the month of November was <br /> <br />read and filed. <br /> <br /> At this ti<e eouneilm~n Deve~eaux appeared in Council. <br /> <br /> An Ordinance levying as.~essments for the improvement of the alley be- <br />tween 8th & 9th Avenues fro:.~ Olive to Charnelton Streets was read the second <br />time, and objections to said ~ssessment were called for znd none heard and no <br />objections having been ~iled,' the Ordinance was on motion read the third tine <br />and placed upon its final passage. Councilmen voting aye 8, nay none. <br />The Ordinance was declared passed and n~mbered #1818. <br /> <br /> An Ordinan'ee authoriz.~ng the issuance and sale of Thirteen Thousand <br /> <br />Eight Hundred ($13,800.00).Dollars of ~mprovement bonds of the City of Eugene, <br />Lane County, 'Oregon, ~nd directing the advertising the sa~e for sale in <br />anoe with Chapter V of Title XXV1 of Lord's Oregon Laws of the State of Oregon <br />w~s re,~d and passed its second ~nd third readiz~zs by title under suspension of <br />the rule and was placed upon its final passage. Councilmen voting aye 8, <br />nay none. The Ordinance was declared pressed and n~.~bered #1819. <br /> <br /> An Ordinance approving the plat of Rugh's Addition to the City of <br /> <br />Ehtgene wa,a re~d and p~ssed its second and third readings by title unde~ sus- <br />pension of the ~ule and was placed upon its final passage. Councilmen voting <br />aye 8, n~y none. The Ordinance was declared passed and n~mbered #1820. <br /> b!~'~ Petition of Samuel Rugh et. al. requesting the council to vacate ~11 <br /> <br />of 'Ih~enty-thiRd Avenue between Willamette and Olive Streets, excepting a strip <br />50 feet wide throuL(n the eente~ thereof was read and referred to the Street <br />Co~.~aittee. <br /> <br /> <br />
