Present Councilmen Parks, Polders, Peterson, <br /> <br />Goodpast~re ~nd Quimby; absent '~oppe, Devereaux and ~osher. <br /> <br /> Due notice h~ving been given by publication of the hearing of <br /> <br />objections to the proposed as:sessment of ornamen{~l !ightirg~, system on <br /> <br />Olive Street from 5th to 9th Avenues, objections were called for at this <br /> <br />time snd none he,oral smd no ob, jeetions h~ving been filed ~gainst said proposed <br />assessment ~ motion was made, seconded and csrried directing the City Attorney <br /> <br />to prepsre ~n 0rdinsnce levying sssessments for the cost of said lighting <br /> <br />system as provided by City Charter. <br /> <br />The matter of drainage of surface water which is flooding the north <br /> <br />end of Lawrence Street was re, ferred to the Street Conu~ittee with power to <br /> <br />aOt. <br /> <br />The Fire & Water Committee reoonu~ended that permission be grsnted <br /> <br />to ~,~r. & ~rs. Oscar Hal!er to erect their tent on City property at Nintt~ <br />and Pe~rl Streets.
