Present Councilmen Parks, Polders, Peterson, Devereaux, Mosher and <br /> <br /> Goodpasture and Quimby; absent Koppe. <br /> <br /> Minutes of February ll~th, 28th and March 6th were read and approved. <br /> Motion was made, seconded and carried that the sum of $2%.00 paid by <br /> Cordelim Ankeny as rent on Butte Park property on January 2, 1915, credited by <br /> the Oity Treasurer to the General ~und be transferred to the Park Fund. <br /> <br /> '~he Street Committee reported favorably on the petition for sidewalk <br /> <br /> on the south side of Second Avenue from Van Bttren Street to Blair Boulevard, and <br /> <br /> on motion the report w~s adopted. <br /> <br /> Repo~t of Berth~ Dorris, Police Mmtron, for January and February <br /> <br />read a~E1 placed on file. <br /> <br /> Report of Dr. Ot~eshire, Health Officer, for the month of January and <br /> <br />the month of February was remd and ordered filed.. <br /> <br /> Report of Vg. H. Alexander, Building ~nspector, for the month of February <br /> <br />was read and filed. <br /> <br /> Request of R. M. D~y for the privilege of putting in a drinking fountain <br /> <br />~t 7th and Willamette Streets was referred to the Fire & Water Committee. <br /> .it this time Counoil~n' Koppe appeared in Council. <br /> <br /> Petition of E~genia E. Hombree for rebate of $20.0~, overpayment on <br /> <br />West 6th Street assessment, see L. D. ~2, page 131 and ~. D. #3, page 395, was <br />read and a motion was made and seconded that ~ w~rrant be drawn on the Road & Street <br />Fund in he~ favor for $20.05. The ayes and n~¥s were c~lled; Councilmen voting <br />~ye 8, n~y none. Motion was declared e~rried and so ordered. <br /> <br /> Petitions of George M~rks, Florence B. Green and P. A. Lockwood for <br /> <br />hotel and lodging house permits were presented, ~nd a motion w~s made, seconded <br /> <br />~nd carried directinj~ the Recorder to issue the permits. <br /> <br /> A Resolution directing the cancellation of a balance of $6.BW interest <br /> <br />on Lot lC, Block B, Kelsay's Second Addition, Olariso S. Deyoe, Ordinance <br />1070, wins re~d and a motion was made and seconded to adopt the same. The ayes <br />and n~ys were c~lled; Councilmen voting aye 8, nay none. The motion was 'de- <br />clared carried and so ordered. <br /> <br /> The Street Committee recon~mend that the Council adopt the Eclipse <br /> <br />fender on street c~rs, and <br /> <br /> An Ordinance permitting a certain type of fender to be used on street <br /> <br />cars, electric cars or electric railroads operating within the corporate limits <br /> <br /> <br />
