Railway Co., explained the <br /> <br />merits of the fender provided for by Ordinance No. 18kl. <br /> Petition of Samuel Rugh, et. al. for the privilege of grading Twenty- <br />fourth Street between Willamette and Olive Streets and Olive Street from Twenty- <br />fourth Street to a point 96.1~ feet north of Twenty-third Street was referred to <br />the Street Comm~ittee. <br /> <br /> An Ordinance to amend Ordinance No. ~R5 entitled, "An Ordinance reAa~lat- <br />lng the construction and providing for the inspection of buildings in the City <br />of Ek~gene, as such ordinance has been amended by Ordinance passed on May 5, <br />1908 and approved on May 5, -19,08, by adding a new section to said Ordinance to be <br />known ~s Section ~, providind~ a penalty for the oontmeneement of construction <br />without a permit therefor was read the third time and placed on its final passage. <br />Councilmen voting aye Parks, Folders, Devereaux, Nosher and'Quimby, n~y Koppe, <br />peterson and Goodpasture. The 0rdin~nce .was declared passed and nt~bered <br />#18t.!.2. <br /> <br /> An Ordinance submittir~g to the eleetor~ of the 0ity of Eugene at the re- <br /> <br /> gular and general election to be held on the 3rd day of April, 1916, a certain <br /> proposed amendment to the Chmrter of the 0ity: providing for the appointment of <br /> Judges ~nd clerks of said election and providing for the polling places therefor <br /> was read ~nd passed its second and third re~dings by title under suspension of the <br /> rule by unanimous consent and w~s placed upon its finml passage. Pra~er, owners was read and passed its second and third <br /> readings by title under suspension of the rule by unanimous consent and was <br /> placed upon its final passage.
