1.~1~ <br />JUNE <br /> <br /> Council~..an Nosher for the City Hall Committee recommended that the <br />project of remodeling the City Hall as planned between the Council and Water <br />Board be accepted by the Council, except the construction of the vault and <br />provided that the ornamental lamp post at the entrance be eliminated from the <br />plans. Recon~endation was on motion adopted. <br /> <br /> Councilman Koppe raised the question of driving stock througt~ Town <br /> <br />and suggested the passage of a proper Ordinance on this subject, and <br /> <br />Mr. Goetschius presented his views, after which the subject was referred to the <br />Judiciary Co~..ittee and City Attorney to bring in a proper Ordinance. <br /> <br /> A Resolution directing the City Attorney to ~.ake arrangements and stipu- <br />lations in the Agate Street case for dismissal upon condition that the City fix <br />and finally establish the line, of the street .so that the center of the improve- <br />ment shall be in the center off the street was read, and Councilman Koppe <br />moved its adoption. Motion was not seconded. <br /> <br /> Motion was made, seoo~ded and carried that the Council adjourn to meet <br />June 26, 1916, at ~:30 o'clock P. Present Councilmen Polders, Parks, Koppe, ~osher, <br />Devereaux and Quimby; absent Peterson and Goodpasture. <br /> <br /> A letter from the Secretary of the Ladies of the G. A. R. thanking the <br />City and citizens for the hospitality extended during the sojourn in Eugene <br />was read. <br /> <br /> Resignation of Lawrence Pennington as fireman to take effect June <br /> <br />30th was read and on motion accepted. <br /> <br /> At this time Counsilman Goodpasture appeared in Council. <br /> <br /> An Ordinance providing for the construction of a cement sidewalk abutt- <br />ing the property described in Section I of this Ordinance (Lot R3, Block 33, <br />Fairmount Addition) said property being in the City of k~gene was read and <br /> <br /> <br />
