Present Councilmen Polders, <br /> <br />Parks, Peterson, Koppe, Moshe~, Quimby and Goodpastu~e; absent Devereaux. <br /> The call for the meeting was read. <br /> <br /> A co~unication from C. B. Ohristensen, City Marshal, informing the <br />Mayor anti Council that the Oregon Lodging House at No. 6W - 7th Avenue East in <br />the City of Eugene, being operated under permit issued January ll, 1916, on <br />application of Ben M. Peal, lessee, by A. H. Harris, agent, is being run in a <br />disorde~ly and improper manner was read. <br /> <br /> A Resolution was read providing that the complaint against said house be <br />heard by the CommOn Council at the regular session to be held in Council Chambers <br />July 31, 1916, at 7:30 o'clock P. M., and upon motion was adopted. <br /> <br /> A communication from C. B. Ct~istensen, City Marshal, informing the <br />Mayor and Council that the Matlock Lodging House at the corner of Eighth Avenue <br />and Willamette Street in the City of Eugene, being operated under permit issued <br /> /, <br />January ll, 1916, on application of J. D. Matlock by 0. C. Matlock, agent, <br /> <br />is being run in a disorderly and lmprope~ manner was read. <br /> <br />A Resolution was read providing that the complaint against said house <br /> <br />be heard by the Common Council at the regular session to be held in Council <br />Chambers July 31, 1916, at 7:30 o'clock P. 31., ar~l upon motion was adopted. <br /> <br /> A communication from C.
