JULY 31, 1916 ...... <br /> <br />Motion was made and seconded that said bills be allowed and warrants drawn in <br />payment of the same. The ayes and nays were c~lled; Councilmen voting aye 6, <br />nay none, absent 2. Motion was declared carried. The bill of D. J. Richards <br />for $87.35, and the bills of R. S. Bryson for $20.00 and C. B. Ch~lstensen for <br />$~.00, being cash advanced to said D. J. Richards for special det~etive work <br />were considered separately upon request of Councilm~n Koppe. Motion was made <br />and seconded that said bills be allowed and warrants drawn in payment of same. <br />The ayes and nays were called; Councilmen voting aye Polders, Mosher, Quimby <br />and Goodpasture, nay Peterson and Koppe, absent Parks and Devereaux. Motion <br />w~s declared carried and so ordered. <br /> <br /> Bids for the reconstruction of the lkth Avenue Mill Street to Alder <br />Street sewer were opened and read. Motion was m~de, seconded and carried that <br />the Council finds ~nd determines that the bid of K. D. Hall is the lowest <br />and best bid, and that the Council award the contract to him in accordance <br />with his bid, and that all other bids be rejected and checks returned to un- <br />successful bidders. <br /> <br /> Bids for the reconstruction of a port,on of the City H~ll were opened <br />and read and referred to the City Hall Con~,~ittee for investigation and report <br />at a meeting to be called. ~ <br /> <br /> On motion the Council adjourned. <br /> <br />Recorder. <br /> <br /> <br />
