"TO THE ME~3ER8 OF THE 00M}~ON COUNOIL OF THE CITY 0t~ EUGENE: <br /> <br /> You, and each of you, are hereby notified that a special <br />meeting of the Co, ach Council has been and is hereby called to meet at the <br />office of the City Recorder on the 2nd day of August, 1916, at 9:00 o'clock <br />in the forenoon for the purpose of awarding a contract for the remodeling of <br />the City }{all upon bids received and opened on the 31st day of July, 1916. <br /> <br /> W. A. Bell, <br /> <br /> Mayor. " <br /> <br /> Council Chambers, Eugene, Oregon, August 2, 1916. <br /> <br /> Council met in special session, and waS c~lled to order by Mayor Bell. <br />Present Councilmen Polders, Peterson, Ko~pe', Mosher and Quimby; absent Parks, <br />Devereaux and Goodpasture. <br /> <br /> The call of the Mayor for the special meeting was read. <br /> <br /> Councilman Mosher reported that the Building Committee had ex~mined the <br />bids for the reconstruction of the City Hall, and moved that the Council finds <br />and determines that the bid of W. 0. Heckart for said work is the l~vest and <br />best bid, and that the contraet be awarded to him in accordance therewith, <br />and that all other bids be rejected. Motion was seconded end carried. <br /> <br /> .The Recorder was informally directed to order vault door from the <br />Herring-Hall-..qarvin Safe Co. in accordance with previous understanding with <br />the Building Committee and Agent of above Company. <br /> <br /> On motion the Council adjourned. <br /> <br />City Recorder. <br /> <br /> <br />
