"TO THE ME~3ER8 OF THE 00M}~ON COUNOIL OF THE CITY 0t~ EUGENE: You, and each of you, are hereby notified that a special meeting of the Co, ach Council has been and is hereby called to meet at the office of the City Recorder on the 2nd day of August, 1916, at 9:00 o'clock in the forenoon for the purpose of awarding a contract for the remodeling of the City }{all upon bids received and opened on the 31st day of July, 1916. W. A. Bell, Mayor. " Council Chambers, Eugene, Oregon, August 2, 1916. Council met in special session, and waS c~lled to order by Mayor Bell. Present Councilmen Polders, Peterson, Ko~pe', Mosher and Quimby; absent Parks, Devereaux and Goodpasture. The call of the Mayor for the special meeting was read. Councilman Mosher reported that the Building Committee had ex~mined the bids for the reconstruction of the City Hall, and moved that the Council finds and determines that the bid of W. 0. Heckart for said work is the l~vest and best bid, and that the contraet be awarded to him in accordance therewith, and that all other bids be rejected. Motion was seconded end carried. .The Recorder was informally directed to order vault door from the Herring-Hall-..qarvin Safe Co. in accordance with previous understanding with the Building Committee and Agent of above Company. On motion the Council adjourned. City Recorder.
